Timber mid-rise buildings are growing in popularity throughout Australia and around the world. One such building is currently under construction in Brisbane and when completed will be Australia’s tallest timber apartment building. The lightweight nature of timber along with the sustainability benefits has been significant in the feasibility of this project.
Three presenters will present a case study that includes structural engineering, engineered timber procurement, and project construction.
