Timber Solutions 2.2 Software released
This popular residential timber-framed design software update is now completed. It includes the revised structural properties for MGP 10, 12 and 15 timber grades in line with the AS 1720.1 Timber Structures standard. | Download the free software here.


 
New Technical Design Guides – long span timber floors
With over 30 technical design guides in the suite, with topics ranging from Building in bushfire prone areas, to Thermal Performance, the new  guides on timber cassette and timber concrete composite (TCC) flooring systems are set to deliver spans of up to 10m while increasing structural efficiency. New angles on cladding – NCC changes
On the 1st of May 2016, the new National Construction Code came into effect, including changes that allow designers to specify diagonally and vertically aligned timber cladding with the same Deemed-to-Satisfy (DTS) simplicity as traditional horizontal applications. | Read more
