The WoodSolutions Mid-rise Advisory Partnership
Design and construction professionals around Australia now have easier access to free and independent resources and support using timber framing and massive timber building systems in mid-rise projects through the National WoodSolutions Mid-rise Advisory Program (MAP).
With extensive experience in property development, construction, timber engineering and architecture, the WoodSolutions team are ideally placed to liaise with development, design and construction professionals, providing generic information and advice on making the most of the cost, time, environmental and other advantages of timber building systems.
The Partnership
The MAP is supported by the Australian Government and some companies through a voluntary matching program: the industry partners jointly fund a collaborative activity to provide free and non-commercial advice to development and design teams without competing with their consultants, while Forest and Wood Products Australia contribute the equivalent amount ($ for $) from core funds coming from levies.
