Meet industry, academia, NGOs and the market at new certification forum
If you're involved - or interested - in timber certification for sustainable building, Green Star or other environmental ratings or accreditation, this is your chance to discover more and contribute to future developments.
Speakers and delegates span the range of interested parties, from government, academia and NGOs to manufacturers, resellers, retailers, design/construction and the forest and wood products industry.
The moderated event will explore strategies to increase the awareness and uptake of certification and identify impediments to its adoption.
Speakers will address some of the issues around certification and share their experiences and discuss strategies that have been adopted in various markets.
Workshops will consider impediments to certification and use group resources to look at strategies to overcome them.
Presented by Planet Ark's Make It Wood campaign, the program is designed to be of value to the whole supply chain.
This is a must-attend event for anyone whose business is likely to be affected by growing corporate and consumer demand for certified wood and wood products.
