Essential Exterior Timber Design Seminar
- Timber finishes for exterior applications
- Preservative treatment of external timber
- Solid timber wood cladding & decking – selection and design
- Solutions for exterior timber in bushfire-prone areas
Timber has always been a stunningly beautiful choice for external cladding and decking – but choosing the correct species, finish, treatment and installation process is critical to a successful design outcome. This free seminar will explore how timber may be used in external applications.
The presentations from industry experts will cover: choosing the right timber finishes for exterior applications, when and how to effectively use preservative treated timber in external applications, selection and design of solid timber wood cladding & decking products. Because of recent events a special session has also been included looking at specifying timber in exterior applications in bushfire-prone areas which will cover timber selection for different bushfire attack level (BAL) zones and options for timber window, doors, cladding and decking.
The seminar is a must for all building and design professionals including architects, building designers, engineers, certifiers, builders, regulators, educators and students.
