WoodSolutions Milano Expo Tour 2015 - call for expressions of interest
Italy’s Milano Expo features some of the world’s finest contemporary timber architecture.
In response to numerous requests for a follow-up to the successful WoodSolutions English tour, we’re calling for expressions of interest from design and construction professionals who would like to join a field trip to the Milan Expo and surrounding areas to investigate modern timber construction.
An indicative itinerary includes; two days at the Milan Expo, visits to CLT and glue lamination plants, significant building construction sites, landmark timber buildings and the Rotho Blaas connector school.
The tour will be structured around opportunities to talk to the design teams and contractors working on innovative timber buildings.
Commencing in Milan and ending in Vienna, the land content of the seven night tour is expected to be less than $3,950.00 per person. This includes Milan Expo entry, accommodation, all breakfasts, some lunches and dinners, all land travel and any other site access costs.
Limited to 25 places, the tour will not only be informative and inspiring – but an excellent networking opportunity.
