Video - offsite modules in CLT

This Finnish video shows the construction of wooden apartment modules in the controlled environment of a factory. They are then assembled onsite to form the completed project - in this case a nursing home.

The modules are built from start to finish indoors and the modules are not exposed to moisture or variable weather for instance at any stage of construction - especially important in the Finnish climate.

The video demonstrates the biggest advantages of modular construction for developers - rapid construction, quality control and environmental sustainability factors.
