Grimshaw uses glue-laminated timber to achieve a sweeping canopy roof, reminiscent of Papua New Guinean longhouses.
Our premises feature Glulam portal frames, Glulam gantry beams and showcase elegant reverse curved Glulam beams. Since 1958 The Company has provided complete design, manufacture, supply and installation supervision packages for timber structures, with around 65% of production being for international projects.
A full range of Glulam options as well as fabricated LVL structural solutions are produced in our plant in compliance with the strict requirements of internationally recognised codes and standards. Specialised plant and equipment have been developed to enable the efficient production of high quality solutions. The recent installation of a 5 axis CNC Gantry Bridge means we are now able to offer specialist detailing and more efficient processing and finishing of complex timber structures.
