Builders and specifiers who want to use timber for either internal or external applications are often unsure of what resources are available and the advantages different species offer.

“Matching Timber Species to Correct Internal & External Use” will deliver the knowledge they need to help select the most appropriate timber species and understand what finishes and maintenance will deliver effective building service life.

Timber Queensland’s highly regarded seminar series will also provide background information regarding the availability of local resources and the forest management and certification schemes that ensure resources are sustainably managed. Plus attendees will have the opportunity try out the QTimber App - an interactive ‘look-up’ tool for Construction Timbers in Queensland with descriptive guides and index.
