Performance | Construction Practice | Code Compliance
Join us at our June Breakfast Seminar to hear three dynamic speakers discuss the performance of roofs on single and double-storey residential buildings subject to high wind conditions, and the specification and performance of stick-built and trussed roofs to resist wind.
In addition, following the release of the General Inspection Report (GIR1) by the Building Commission of WA (now Building and Energy) two years ago, which examined how well sheet metal clad roof frames were being constructed in WA, we will delve into how roof construction practice has improved and what are the timber frame construction issues Building and Energy’s audit branch are currently focused on?
This seminar will be most beneficial to residential home builders, construction and site managers, designers, engineers, local government and building surveyors, independent building inspectors, carpentry trades and educators.
