A global event for design & construction of timber & mass wood buildings. |
|
The Timber Offsite Construction conference and exhibition is one of only three major global events focussed on the design and construction of engineered timber and mass wood buildings, with a background spanning 24 years. The 2023 Conference theme ‘Timber & Technology – The Zero Carbon Future’ will explore the exponential growth in the use of mass wood and engineered timber on a global basis and delve into the benefits creating major improvements in building construction efficiency and significant reductions in carbon emissions. |
Conference Speaker Sessions
Conference speaker topics will provide comprehensive coverage of the build process from initial design through to completion for a wide range of residential, commercial, and community building designs, often utilising a combination of structural building systems and materials to gain the most efficient outcomes.
Global Expert Presenters
International and local presenters will outline emerging developments in design and technology, focusing on current trends in building systems and construction methodologies to achieve highly efficient processes for reducing time and cost. Expert speakers from a wide range of disciplines within design and construction will present on current advancements and trends in new products and commercial solutions now emerging.
Expert Building Panels
Project panels with teams of experts will discuss challenges and solutions for code compliance in a wide range of design elements including fire and acoustic engineering, moisture and waterproofing. Sessions will be of major interest to building design professionals, with introduction of new building systems and products to create more efficient outcomes and lower project costs.
Innovative Construction Projects
Innovative building projects currently underway in Australasia and globally will be presented, with major engineered timber structures and buildings using hybrid design timber, steel and concrete up to 40 stories, along with small and large residential and commercial developments.
