It has been 5 years since the first CLT building (Forte Living) was completed in Melbourne and in that time the growth of mass timber buildings has exploded?
This seminar will explore the development of CLT and other mass timber projects since 2012, investigating some of the completed, underway and proposed buildings around the country.
This free seminar will explore where Australia sits globally in mass timber use, as well as investigation prominent overseas building and projects within Australia. Speakers will include architects, engineers and builders that are at the forefront of the development of mass timber buildings.
The range of buildings being discussed will include, apartments (big and small), hotels, offices, industrial, housing and public buildings; demonstrating the diversity of mass timber application have.
This all-day seminar is a must for all building and design professionals including architects, engineers, building designers, certifiers, developers, builders, regulators and educators.
