Timber continues to be the preeminent material used in residential design and construction because it is: cost-effective, readily available, flexible & easy to use, structurally strong, natural, and sustainable.
Today, a range of prefabricated structural timber system solutions are available from the frame and truss sector for residential construction, including wall and roof systems, and new rapidly installed floor cassette systems.
In this webinar, Ian Hayward, Engineering Manager with Pryda, will discuss the important structural design and specification considerations for these prefabricated timber products in residential construction; particularly the important facts around: prefabricated application solutions, the design/fabrication process, and the specification and supply requirements of the timber systems on offer.
