WoodSolutions 2013 Central Europe Study Tour

Seven days and eight nights of wonderful inspiration, information and fun in December, from Munich to Zurich for only AUD$3850*.
Join our group of architects, engineers, developers and building professionals visiting landmark projects - and meeting some of the people behind them.

Your tour leader for this tour will be Andrew Lawrence, a working specialist timber engineer and an Associate in Arup's Advanced Technology & Research Group, London.

Read what some of our previous Tour participants have said:

"The tour was exquisitely programmed with just the right amount of touring and down time for getting to know the other delegates.... the dining was a blast too. I'd thoroughly recommend the 2013 trip to Europe, it looks fabulous."

"As an architect actively involved with projects using engineered timber building systems, I found the WoodSolutions UK Tour to be an informative and engaging experience. It added depth to my client discussions."

‘The WoodSolutions UK Tour was an educational, brilliantly organised and inspirational fieldtrip that showed off the best of the UK's modern engineered timber buildings as well as a few old classics. The action packed tour raised my understanding of how wood can be used to build in a range of applications. The tour leaders were informative, extremely knowledgeable and fun to spend time with. In addition, delicious food, drink and accommodation topped off a fabulous week. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fieldtrip to anyone and would love to attend again.'

" ....meeting many of the people responsible for the projects visited, made for a far more intelligent discussion of issues and I learned much, much more than I would have by simply visiting the
buildings themselves."

Travel in comfort and stay in style
You will enjoy travelling in absolute comfort on board a luxury coach and stay in carefully selected 4 Star hotels in beautiful locations set amongst the scenic beauty of lakes, mountains, architectural and music history.
