The short delivery time requirement for the Aveo Bella Vista building, completed in Norwest, Sydney in 2018 made it an ideal project for a CLT design, enabling Strongbuild to complete it 13 weeks earlier than with the concrete program.

Structural circular timber and steel-timber columns to support the steel roofing structure as well as timber facade mullions for the new community facility in Marrickville.

The Our Lady of the Assumption School in North Strathfield utilises an existing three-storey concrete frame base built over 30 years ago. The extension includes 4 levels of CLT and glulam post and beam structure.

The five accommodation units comprise of 62 guest rooms in total. The pods vary in height between two and four storeys and use CLT floors and walls.

Construction is well underway for a new 624 bed student accommodation building for La Trobe University. It will be the largest mass timber building in Victoria, utilising 4,640 cubic meters of Cross Laminated and Glued Laminated timber, and forms part of La Trobe’s ambitious plan to transform its Bundoora campus into a University City of the Future.
