CLT Design Resources

WoodSolutions Technical Design Guide 44 contains the results of a research program into the acoustic performance of CLT in various system configurations, with the aim of demonstrating compliance with the NCC.

Fig Tree Deck

This public deck improves the pedestrian relationship with the large, existing trees, while providing access to shade and amenities. The deck is site specific, employing a random framing solution to account for the existing root system.

London Calling

Commissioned by a couple in London, the designer overcame distance and logistics to produce a long lasting and beautiful piece of furniture. The natural character and beauty of the macassar ebony is showcased, and the sound environmental use of sustainably harvested products is championed.
