Using play on scale and clever detailing, this fitout project for the AEU celebrates a creative, unique and varied use of readily available timber products and wall paneling. The result is an energised workplace with diverse spaces that fosters a culture of collaboration.

Inhabited by patients and their support networks seeking therapy, information or solitude, this vibrant yet domestic space exudes warmth and security through its use of timber. Natural timber is used as both a main feature and as accents throughout, emphasising the Centre's focus on nature and natural elements, all proven to aid the healing process.

This project delivers a contemporary fitout on a very reasonable budget by utilising readily available, commonplace materials. Curved elements provide a unique visual effect through the use of 2,000 individually laid timber dowels.
